Mission Statement for
Jefferson County (Iowa) Little League (Fairfield, Libertyville, Lockridge). Our mission is to provide an opportunity for youth to participate in t ball, baseball, softball or Challenger League and to educate them in the values of hard work, physical exercise, working towards a common goal and being a positive presence in their community.

Registration Information
Please use the links below to register online, then during the season to access your player or coach’s page and the team schedule or other information when available. Click on the proper community link below and when you reach the login page save it in your favorites for future use.
On the home page, enter your user id and password on the left side as a returning player/coach or if you have never registered before, use the right side (save your id/password). Enter “login”. Then you will be able to register your PLAYER OR COACH. Payment by credit/debit card and electronic check is available online on the secure computer program! You can still register online but if you wish to pay cash, please call Ann Gary at 641-472-6338 to make special arrangements.
MANY MANAGERS AND COACHES ARE ALREADY IN THE ONLINE SYSTEM BUT YOU ALSO STILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR 2013 AGAIN AS BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE MANDATORY BY NATIONAL LL.
IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE IN REGISTERING OR DO NOT KNOW YOUR ID OR PASSWORD FOR RETURNING PLAYERS/COACHES – SEND AN EMAIL TO fflittleleague@gmail.com OR CALL 641-472-6338 TO REQUEST THEM. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PLAYER/COACH’S NAME FOR IDENTIFICATION.
To change your password:
Log into your account, Click “Edit Profile” in the left menu, Click on the “Key” icon (top left) located at the top, in the small name bar. This will take you to the “Edit User Profile-Login and Roles page”. Type in the new password in each of other 2 spaces provided (under the username) and make sure you type it in the same place. Click the “Update” button to save the change. Don’t forget to save your new password for future use.

Majors ages 11-12 born May 1, 2000 thru April 30, 2002
GIRLS SOFTBALL – Minors ages 6-10 born January 1, 2002 thru December 31, 2006
Majors ages 10-12 born January 1, 2000 thru December 31, 2002

BOYS ROOKIES (ages 7-8)
Rookies will be using the pitching machine at the regular mound location during practices and games. There will not be any player or coach pitching. Batters will get a max. of 5 pitches per at bat or 3 strikes. Foul balls on 5th pitch batter will get another pitch. Home is closed. Stealing is allowed at 2nd and 3rd base. No stealing home or advancing home on over throw of 3rd on a steal attempt. Runners must be batted home. No walks allowed.
No stealing is allowed if the ball goes behind the catcher’s box. It is considered a dead ball. Runners can not advance. There will be a chalked line used for reference 3 feet behind the point of home plate.
The offensive coach loads the pitching machine. Defensive coaches are still allowed to be on the field. An offensive coach is behind the plate.
INTERLEAGUE GAMES
There is a strong possibility we will be playing with Fox River in Van Buren Co. again. All teams will be playing by the same rules!
GIRL’S MINORS SOFTBALL (ages 6-10)
Girl’s Minors softball will be an instructional league focusing on the fundamentals of the game. It will be a player/coach pitch league. No walks will be issued. The coach will pitch to the batter once 4 balls are thrown by the player and will assume the current count of strikes and balls. The coach will be allowed to throw a maximum of 4 pitches to the batter. NO FOUL OUTS! Each girl will be allowed to pitch six innings per week. Girls Minors is a mandatory play league with everybody getting a chance to hit in the lineup. There are only 10 players allowed on the field at a time. We will also be using the 5 run per inning limit or 3 outs. Game times will be limited to 90 minutes.
(Special note for 6 yr old girls - you can register for t ball or softball - on “Sport” on the “Options” page, use baseball for t ball or change the box to softball)
