Faatimah Li-Shaun Dreher, born March 4, 1995 in Colo Sprgs, CO. Daughter of William and Li-Kesha Dreher, both U.S. Army War Veterans. I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who maintains a good GPA and works hard year round: academically, basketball tournaments, volunteering in my community, pickup games, and I practice alone to build speed, agilty, and endurance.
In highschool, I was a three year varsity starter and letter winner in basketball and and four year varsity letter winner in track & field. Average 6 ppg, 5 Rbs, 6 Assists, 2 blocks, 3 steals, free throws 70%. I am discribed as a team player, very coachable, and a strong diversed player/runner who can shoot, drive, pass, post, rebound, guard the ball exceptionally well on defense, flexible--plays multiple positions (point, shooting guard & post), and also excelled in several T&F Sprinting Events (100m Dash, 200m Dash, 4x100, & 4x200). As a freshmen in College, I did not get much playing time; however, I averaged 3.3 ppg, 2 Rbs, 3 Assists, 1 blocks, 10 steals, free throws 37%
In addition to my passion for sports, I am also a loyal and caring person. I'm currently majoring in Psychology and Biblical Studies; my plan is to eventually become a Child Psycologist. In addition to Psychology, I also enjoy writing poems, short stories, and drawing. I plan to continue enhancing my writing skills by either minoring in or taking a few classes in Creative Writing while at Grace.
I'm excited and proud to say I made it through my senior year of highschool and my 1st semester of college...whew it was challenging. No matter what issues arise or how much I miss home, I keep my joy and try to encouraged myself by praying and talking to God and by leaning on my fav bible quotes, "I can do all things through Chirst that strenghthens me" and "This too shall pass." I am an avid believer in, "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger."
The Grace Royals Basketball season just ended. With a young team, we ended the season at 5-21. I'm looking forward to being able to have extra time for myself and my academic studies. I'll keep you informed of my upcoming journeys.
