March 28th

Up in Austin the 12 National team & the 13 Black team both went undefeated. What that accomplishment did was set-up a championship match between the 2 teams. It was hard watching one of the teams lose, however to watch them play and how hard they both played was very impressive. The match went 3 with both teams splitting the 1st 2 sets. 12 National won the 3rd set & the championship. Congratulations to both teams it was an honor to watch!

March 21st & 22nd

14 Black, 14 National, & 15 Black played in Austin & San Antonio. The combined records were 7 - 3.

17 National finished The Tour of Texas Finals going 1 - 2 in the Bronze Bracket

18 National went 2 - 1 in the Gold Bracket of The Tour of Texas Finals. They finished The Tour in 3rd place.

March 16th

The long weekend in Houston provided some positive outlooks. 13 Black, 14 Black, & 15 Black all played some of their best volleyball, kudos to those 3 teams.

12 National played into the Semi-Finals of the Cross Court Classic Gold Bracket. They lost 16 - 14 in the 3rd game to a very good Mad Frog's Team. That finish gave 12 National a 3rd place finish and a very impressive showing amongst 12 year old teams through the state of Texas. Congratulations girls!

March 13th

This weekend Extec has 6 teams heading down to Houston to compete in the Cross Court Classic. This tournament has 484 teams playing in divisions 12 - 18s. Good Luck to 12 National - 13 Black - 14 Black - 14 National - 15 Black - 16 Black. It should be an exciting weekend.

March 9th

This past weekend 17 National came back from Indianapolis with a 17th place finish. This effort was out of 128 teams that participated in The Mid-East Qualifier. It was a great start to qualifier season. I am sure the girls, parents, & coach were as exhausted as I was upon returning. Nice work!!

February 28th - March 1st

Extec 14 Black, 14 National, 15 Black, 15 National, 16 Black, 17 National, & 18 National all played this past weekend and went a combined 18 - 5.

18 National went undefeated and will be playing for the Tour of Texas Championship on the weekend of March 21st & 22nd in San Antonio at UTSA

17 National tuned up for its 1st National Qualifier this weekend in Indianapolis. They go into the tournament the overall 32nd seed out of well over a 100 teams

14 Black, 14 National, 15 Black, & 16 Black all used this succesful weekend to gear up for the big tournament in Houston the Cross Court Classic on March 14th & 15th

January 26th,

This past weekend Extec had 3 teams playing. 15 National went up to Dallas for their 1st stop on the TCS and went 2 - 2. They lost their crossover match to move up to Division II. 15 Black stayed local and went an outstanding 7 - 1 in sets played. 14 National stayed local as well and played up an age division. They won their 15s pool going 3 - 0 and did it without dropping a set.

January 17th,

Extec 12 National took a 3rd place finish this past weekend in San Antonio at the MLK Challenge. They dropped only 1 match all weekend going an outstanding 7 - 1. The only matched they lost was in the semi-finals. The most impressive thing about this achievement was that they were playing up an age group. The 12 National team played in the 13 year old division. Congratulations to Coach Jamie, The 12 National players & their families.

Check out some of their pictures on the teams website!
