East Stroudsburg is a great opportunity for me to return to collegiate coaching, Bolar said. My first goal is to make the playoffs and the second is to upgrade the facilities all the way around to help recruiting.
Bolar coached with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for two summers and also worked at Hamilton High School as well as an assistant at Butte and Yuba College.
Bolar replaces Roger Barren, who resigned following 13 years as the head coach. The Warriors went 26-23 in 2005 and had three seniors on the team.

UTICA, NY Utica College has named Evan Buckalew as the new head baseball coach for the 2007 season. Buckalew, who was an assistant coach last season, will replace Don Guido, who retired after serving as the programs head coach for the past 17 years.
I certainly have big shoes to fill, but I am confident in my coaching abilities and I look forward to stepping in and taking over the reigns, Buckalew said. We have a great core of kids coming back and I am thrilled about the opportunity.
Before coming to UC last season, Buckalew had a successful six-year stint as the assistant head coach at nationally-ranked Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, N.J. During his tenure at Brookdale, Buckalew played a part in five Garden State Athletic Conference Titles, two Region 19 Championships and two trips to the Junior College World Series in Millington, Tenn.
