A Dire Situation
Well folks, there is no other way to put it....
We are DESPARATE!
As all of you know, Eastwood Little League is an organization run entirely by volunteers. From the Board of Directors on down to the managers and coaches, it is all staffed by people donating their time. The same group of 10-15 people have been the main group of volunteers for many years at Eastwood. Most of them no longer have children playing at Eastwood, and some have volunteered so long they now have grandchildren playing! We can't do it anymore without new help, new blood and a fresh perspective!
At our last Board of Directors meeting, a main topic of discussion was shutting Eastwood Little League down! Of the current board, only 4 or 5 people plan to continue on as board members. Without more help, more willingness to volunteer...
IF PEOPLE DON'T STEP UP TO THE CALL TO HELP...We as Eastwood Little League will be a thing of the past.
This is not a scare tactic, it is just plain simple facts!
PLEASE....seriously consider volunteering your time and energies at Eastwood today!
