EWG Youth Football and Cheerleading: Registration

Registration dates in March and April will be posted on the website – forms should be dropped off or signed on these dates. Returning participants have prefilled forms to sign which will be available; new participants please click forms below, fill out and bring to one of the registrations or mail to: EWG Youth Football & Cheerleading, PO Box 82, Exter, RI 02822.

Please carefully read the checklist (included in the "2012 Registration Packet document" and shown seperately below) when completing the forms.

The grade calculator must include FINAL grades for the 2011-2012 Academic year. Please be sure to make a copy of the final report card to include along with the printout of your child's GPA calculation. Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play.

Not only is Pop Warner the only youth sports organization that requires academic guidelines for its members to participate in its programs, but Pop Warner also honors its top student-athletes every year through the All-American Scholar program. Over the past two years, Pop Warner's commitment to academic excellence has been very evident, as nearly a quarter of a million dollars in scholarship money has been handed out to 142 young scholar-athletes from across the country at the annual Scholastic Banquet. Your child could qualify for a scholarship worth up to $5,000!

The scholar program is truly one of the main benefits that sets Pop Warner apart from other youth sports organizations. The driving principle behind the founding of the organization back in 1929 still lives strong today, more than 80 years later.

Anyone who would like to volunteer please fill out the "2012 Volunteer Form" below and give it along with a copy of your driver's license to Dan Claeson or any board member. Please turn this information in by the April league meeting – 4/18/12. League meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the Metcalf Library at 7:00 pm.
