A convincing win but the team went through playing bursts, playing well for 20 mins of the game and pretty much going through the motions for the rest of it, Some great goals and great to get Josh Sweet and Black eyed Bowen back. A good win but not 1 of our best performances

A 1 sided game with Eveswell comfortably winning - Played some nice football today and scored some very attractive gioals, we have moved up a gear with our finishing - looking good at the moment

A bit 1 sided with some good goals, the team is tuning up for some tough games over the next few weeks. The football as always is attractive and the possession makes us very difficult to score against, if we've got the ball the other team can't score - well done all round

The pitch was the same for both teams but grass that is 5 inches long does little to help with the demands of 11 a side football - I'm sure the council have pressing demands but why not make grass cutting at Glebelands a priority task for this week - Pitch markings would be good as well
The game was played in a good spirit but the pitch (grass) denied any chance of a football featival - Eveswell proved too strong.

The first half stayed relatively tight, mainly due to the strong headwind but as always the same pattern of play emerged - tight game for 20 - 30 mins then Eveswell's relentless pressure overwhelms the other team.
Very pleasing performances from everyone, some of the best football we've played - High entertainment value today

A good competitive game with our fledgling C's putting up a good show - They held out well for the first 20 mins but then the A's moved up a couple of gears and graually asserted themselves on the game

The malaise of poor finishing came to an end today. A good disciplined performance even though it would have been easy to lose their shape when playing in such an unbalanced game. Tredegar Park became our home today - great pitch in wonderful condition added to our Footballing spectacle

11 a side season opens with strong performance

A good start to the new challenge of 11 a side football - the tone of the game was set with Lloyd scoring an excellent solo goal in the first 2 mins. Eveswell played some excellent football but were blighted with some awful finishing - a theme continued from pre-season games - we're currently missing at least 10 1 on 1 chances per game.
Defencively we look very strong and going forward we play some lovely football - Its nice to have something to work on -finishing

A good competitive game played in a great spirit, Eveswell were just a bit too strong, with our recurring weakness surfacing again - Finishing - We can play better but we still would like to give just credit to Graig for such a valiant display
