Former Outlaw Hurler Passes Away!
The Outlaws are sadden by the loss of former Pitcher Nate Rister of Carmi, IL. Nathan passed away earlier this week and leaves behind a wife and 2 children. Nate started his Outlaw career with the U-21 Outlaws in 1997, following a stint in the Frontier League Nate returned to the Laws in 1999 and picked up a win in relief against the Memphis, TN Royals in the Championship Game of the 1999 USBC World Series, unfortunatly it was Memphis first loss of the tournament and the Laws eventually fell in the 2nd championship game. It was Memphis only loss of the year(67 & 1). Nate returned to the Laws during the 2006 season for a few weeks filling in at 3B and DH, after a season ending arm injury he retired.
