2008 Season
2008 proved to be a very successful season with a very competitive league. Dr. Martin Orthodontics won the league with a 14 - 1 record with EI Sports finishing in second place and Auntie Anne's finishing in third place. The season concluded with our 14 year old all-star team finishing in third place in the state tournament and five players from that team selected as state all-stars. Those players were invited to play in a 14 year old state all-star game in Bloomington, Indiana followed by a banquet honoring all of the state all-stars. VANDERBURGH COUNTY BABE RUTH 16 TO 18 YR OLD TEAM
Vanderburgh County Babe Ruth 16 to 18 year old baeball team has openings on its 2009 team. High school players are eligible with the season beginning in June. League games will be with other regional Babe Ruth teams with the end of season progressive tournament. For information, contact coach Kyle Westby at 589-4198 or 401-1331.

Vanderburgh County Babe Ruth to Host U15 District Tournament
The Vanderburgh County Babe Ruth Program has been chosen to host the U15 District 7 tournament. The games will be held at the Wesselman Park Babe Ruth field in Evansville, Indiana. The tournament will begin on July 10th and run through July 13th or 14th. This represents the third consecutive year that the Vanderburgh County Babe Ruth program has hosted either a district or a state tournament.
