Returning 2011 players will be given priority over new players if the league becomes full. However, the priority status is lost if the registration of a returning player is not complete by Feb. 11th 2012. Any registrations submitted after Feb. 11th 2012 will be assessed a $15 late fee.
AGE GROUPS AND DIVISIONS / boys and girls 4-15
PLEASE NOTE: *There is no guarantee that players, other than siblings, will play on the same team.
T-BALL LEAGUE (4 - 6 year olds)
There are no tryouts for this league.
Players will be selected to a team through a coach’s draft.
American Minor (7 - 8 year olds)
Players will be selected to a team through a coach’s draft.
National Minor (9 – 10 year olds)
Players will be selected to a team through a coach’s draft.
MAJOR LEAGUE (11 - 12 year olds)
Players will be selected to a team through a coach’s draft.
JUNIOR & SENIOR LEAGUE (13-14-15 year olds)
This league will be drafted after high school ball is finished. We are accepting registrations now but will not collect registration fees until that league starts.
***CHALLENGER DIVISION***

EVERYONE MAKES A TEAM
AGES 4 TO 6 do not try out for T-Ball.
AGES 7 thru 16 MUST TRYOUT OR WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY.
(Parents may request their son/daughter to “play up” a division, but there are no guarantees they will. If requesting to play up, the child must tryout in the division requested.)
Players returning on Major League (11-12 year olds) teams WILL ALSO TRYOUT.
High School Players may not play until they are released by their school coach.
TRYOUTS WILL BE MARCH 3RD & 4TH – your choice. SHOULD IT RAIN FOR TRYOUTS, THEN IT WILL BE DELAYED ONE WEEK (see tryout schedule below)

- Any individual wishing to coach at Evangeline Little League for the 2012 season must complete and submit the attached Coaches Application Form and required documents listed. This includes all coaches who may have coached last year or during any previous season. Coaches are selected on an annual basis and no coach is guaranteed a team in any season. Please return your forms as soon as possible.
As the new Board of Directors begins its 2012 season, we thank you for being a part of the Evangeline Little League community at the Louisiana Pepper Plex ballpark. Little League is the largest organized youth sports organization in the world. We offer t-ball for boys and girls ages 4 to 6, softball for girls ages 7 to 15 and baseball for boys ages 7 to 15. Registration begins the 2nd Saturday in January and every Saturday after that until the 2nd Saturday in February at the Pepper Plex office from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our practice season begins the first week of March and our playing season lasts from April to June.
