Change Your Web Address

Change the extension of your eteamz web address.

Example: www.eteamz.com/mysitename (change "mysitename" to any available name)

Don't want "eteamz.com" in your web site address? Get www.YourTeamName.com and forward it to your eteamz web site. Register a domain at eteamz.domaindirect.com.

Storage Space

All sites come standard with 2.5MB of storage space for files, videos, music and images.

PLUS sites come with extra storage space. Totals are listed below. Keep in mind both Free and PLUS sites may always purchase more storage space at 20MB increments.

Team PLUS: 30MB
League PLUS: 50MB
Org PLUS: 70MB

Up to 16 Additional Pages

PLUS sites come with 16 optional pages that you may list on your site menu which can contain any amount of articles, information, news items, etc. You may post images, sounds, handouts, videos, and surveys with any news item. These pages are used for general news, links, rules, event information, history and whatever you need.

Free sites come with only one customizable news page.

Custom Site Colors

Choose the main, menu, background, text, link and other colors for your web site.

Free sites have no color options and use the standard default template.

Choose from a few template designs to change the look of your site.

Website Design Tools

You are in control of the content placed on your web site pages. You may change or remove menu items, post news, links, pictures and much more.

Site Memberships

Each site provides the ability to create a list and store information for approved members (players, parents, fans, etc.)

You may restrict certain groups or single members to specific areas of your site.

There is NO limit to the number of members you may associate with your site.

You will have the ability to contact these members via the Email List and MessageCast features as well as associate them with your roster or board sections.

Upload Files

The file manager (aka Uploads section) is an area where you may upload, store and organize images, sounds, videos and other files you wish to use on your web site.

The files will be available to include on specific web site pages. If you do not use, they will remain in storage for quick access and convenience.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is unlimited on all site service options.

What is Bandwidth?
The range of frequencies, expressed in Kilobits per second, that can pass over a given data transmission channel within a frame relay network. The bandwidth determines the rate at which information can be sent through a channel - the greater the bandwidth, the more information that can be sent in a given amount of time. Usually measured in bits-per-second. A full page of English text is about 16,000 bits. A 56Kbs modem can easily move 16,000 bits in less than one second.

Scheduling & Calendar Tools

All the calendar and scheduling tools you need to manage your games and events in one convenient online location. Easily post new calendar items, update existing events, and communicate with players, parents, family and friends in an easy-to-use online environment.

Post News

Post articles, game summaries, player stats, photos, videos and more on your news page. If you need to communicate something fast and effectively with your team, posting news to your Website is the way to go.

Manage Rosters

Gone are the days of thick hand-written notebooks for roster and statistics tracking. eteamz offers online roster management and statistics tools dedicated to taking the manual labor out of coaching a team and allowing you to focus on what’s important: having fun.

Online Photo Albums by Shutterfly

eteamz has partnered with Shutterfly, the #1 online digital photo service, to bring you an enhanced photo feature called eteamz albumz.

Historically, only team Administrators have been able to share their photos with the team. Now, team members, parents and coaches can also share the photos they took at the game on the team website creating an extensive collection of the best memories that will live on well past the season.

By partnering with Shutterfly, team members can also invite friends and family to view photos online. With one click, family members can see photos from last week's game or tournament.

And it doesn't stop there. Team and family members can also order prints and exciting photo products to preserve the season's best memories.

Player Stats

Post individual players stats. An easy-to-use stat form is available to you when scoring results. Stats are displayed cumulatively on the web site.

Note: This feature is only available to soccer, baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, basketball, hockey and netball sites.

We do plan on adding stats for other sports. In the meantime, you may post stats as a handout to your site (Word or Excel files and the like).

Message Boards

Add multiple message boards (by category) to your web site. Your site visitors and members can post questions, news, debate, whatever.

Note: You will have the ability to remove any unwanted or unnecessary posts.

Practice & Event Scheduling

Have several practices or events that occur on the same day each week or month? Use the recurring scheduling tool to easily add them all at once to your schedules or calendar.

Create Surveys & Polls

Post surveys and polls to your web site pages. You may create as many as you wish and add them to the Welcome page or any News section of your web site.

Reports will be provided and you may restrict access to specific user types (to avoid responses from unwanted parties).

Collect Player & Team Fees

All sites include the industry leading Online Registration service from Active.com (eteamz' parent company).

Online Registration (also known as OLR) allows you to collect fees and participant information via our VeriSign secure credit card transaction service. Collect Donations

All sites include the industry leading ActiveGiving.com donation tools, provided from Active.com (eteamz' parent company).

The program helps you collect donations directly from your eteamz web site. You can also enlist the help of team players and parent as well as league or community members to act as fundraisers for your cause.

MessageCast

MessageCast is eteamz' broadcast phone message service available to all web sites. Now reaching out to your team, league or group is even easier. Right from your eteamz web site Admin, you can configure groups of your site members, type in your messages and deliver them as telephone calls to everyone you choose...anytime you want.

Email Lists

Create email lists (from your current site members) to easily contact a specific group of people when you need.

Note: We provide the ability to categorize your emails into one or more lists. You will use your email client to send the actual message.

Import/Export Events, Games & Practices

Import
You can download a proprietary template file that can be filled out with calendar events to be uploaded to your eteamz site. You will use a similar template to upload games and practices.

Export
You and site visitors can export games, practices, and calendar events directly from your live Website pages.

Note: Calendar events will be exported in our proprietary format. You can then import the file to Outlook or modify the file to your specifications and add to your PDA or other calendar application.

Print Calendars, Standings & Rosters

You and site visitors can print a clean copy of your schedules, calendars, standings or rosters directly from your Website pages.

Page Transitions

Choose from over 20 variations of page transitions (how a page transfers from one to the next when you click to visit a new page). Fade in, circle out, box in, wipe out, etc.

Site Update Notifications

Pop-Ups
Have something you need to get out immediately and bring to any site visitor's attention? Use the Popup Notification, which will display to any site visitor when they first come to your site.

Icons
Associate a notification icon with your web site menu items. Site visitors will know when specific sections have been updated or need their attention.

Image Resizing

Images showing up too large on your site? No problem. When adding an image to a particular section on your site, resize the height and width with ease.

Free Sites:
Upload files to use on your site up to 300KB in size.

PLUS Sites:
No restriction on file sizes.

Upload up to 1000 Members at Once

Upload up to 1000 members at the same time using AFTF (Active File Transfer Format). AFTF is a way to put information about your players in a file that eteamz.com and Active.com can recognize. AFTF uses a comma separated text format (.csv) that many programs, including Microsoft Excel, can read and write.

This tool is available within the People and Members sections of the web site Admin.

You will have the option to restrict certain (or all) pages to "members only". This means only approved members of your site may view the page. You also have the option to manually approve requesting users (uninvited visitors - anyone who happens by your site).

You will have access to a "mass approve" tool to approve many requesting users at once. You may also use the "mass delete" tool to remove any of your current site members at once.

Team Sub-Sites (League Sites Only)

Only the PLUS service offers sub-sites. Sub-sites are team web sites directly listed and affiliated with the league. The Admin of the league can access and update the sites, as well as assign a coach to manage the specific team page/site.

You may still schedule and score teams associated to multiple divisions on free sites. However, if you wish to have more information (roster, news, photos, stats, etc.) for each team, the team will need to create a separate Team web site.

Note: After you have chosen a sub-site administrator you may restrict access to specific folders of the Team or League sub-site Admin by clicking the edit icon located to the right of the Team/League Administrator name.

By default, the following folders are shared between the main site and sub-sites. Please keep this in mind if you don't completely trust one of your sub-site administrators.
