About the League

The purpose of the Eastside Traveling League is to provide a competitive youth basketball league with emphasis on learning and excelling in a positive, supportive enviroment.  The league is designed to compliment recreation department programs by providing an outlet for the more advanced players in the area who wish to compete in an accelerated program.

The ETL is open to programs and teams which meet the requirements for admission established by the league.  Programs are affiliated with local High Schools and eligibility is based on residence within each High School's attendance boundary.  Preference will be given to programs from the Kingco League attendance area.

Current program members include:  Bellevue, Eastside Catholic, Eastlake, Issaquah, Juanita, Lake Washington, Liberty, Mercer Island, Mount Si, Newport, Puyallup, Redmond, Skyline, Bothell, Inglemoor, & Woodinville.

Programs have teams at multiple grade levels and play both home and away games on the same schedule (games are one after the other).  The league provides games for grades 4 - 8.  The actual structure of each age division, in terms of number of games, divisional alignment, etc., will be determined at the beginning of each season based on the number of teams participating in each grade level within the league.

Tryouts are held by individual programs and are typically held in mid-September.   Most programs participate in fall tournamants.  League play begins the first weekend in December with games scheduled on Saturday's and Sunday's at Eastside area high schools and middle school gyms.

The posted schedules at this site reflect originally scheduled games.  Game times and locations may be changed by individual programs.  Always confirm game information with your specific team contact or coach.
