Tag Day,Field Clean Up & Opening Day

Opening Day has officially been moved to April 26th- due to crummy weather and resulting field conditions!

Field Clean-Up will be moved to April 12/13- more information to follow shortly on times and field assignments for teams. See letter below

Dear Little League Families,

Saturday, April 12 is our field clean up day. This is a great way to help the league and gather points towards your work bond. Starting at 9:00 one point will be allotted for every hour served. It will at least take all morning and some fields will take longer than others. There will be a time sheet at each field please sign in and sign out. Make sure you print you name so that you may get the appropriate credit. We will need leaf blowers, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, brooms, trimmers, edgers and many other lawn tools are needed to get the job done quickly. The more people we have the quicker the work will be completed. There will be no practices until fields have been finished. The league assignments are:

  •  Instructional and softball- Rock Tenn
  • Minor boys- Konwalik-
  • Major boys- Konawalik Intermediate Boys- Waterfront

I appreciate all the work you do for the league. Other opportunities to gain work bond points are coming up. The quickest ways are, but not the only, to become a team Mom and help organize your players team (watch your email for a description of duties for that) and by becoming a volunteer umpire. We can supply training if you wish. If you enjoy umpiring and you wish to possibly move up to a paid position for that please let me know.
