Ho, Ho, Ho,
Parents (and prospective coaches), give your kids and yourself an early holiday present by enabling them to learn baseball skills and drills that have already helped several returning local kids make good as college players, coaches, and even professional ball players. Join those same local pros and college players as they put the children through circuit training, just like the top professional and college teams teach today.
The December 5th & 6th two-day mini-camp will enable players, as well as parents interested in coaching, to experience new drills and fundamentals that can help in the upcoming season. Each group will be small and provide for individualized training at any level, and players will be broken into age-specific groups to allow each child to work with other campers of similar ability.
Focus areas will be Pitching, Infield play, Outfield play, Hitting, Bunting, and Base running. Your child will learn that if they work hard and do the fundamentals properly they to can go on to College, Minors, or even the MLB.
We will also host an autograph session during which all campers can also take pictures with Major League players , Minor Leaguers from around the area, as well as top collegiate players of coaches representing powerhouse local teams.
Some of the proceeds will go towards the Jon Wilhite recovery fund. For more info on Wilhite please go to http://articles.latimes.com/2009/aug/30/sports/sp-angels-fyi30
Please download the flyer for more details.

ESLL 2010 Board of Directors Election
El Segundo Little League is gearing up for 2010 Season. The initial process consists of electing a new Board of Directors. We invite ESLL parents to consider joining the El Segundo Little League Board of Directors for the 2010 Season. The board encourages continuous yearly rotation of former and new board members to foster creativity and innovation for our league. There will be several open positions due to graduating players. This is your opportunity to be a voice and make a difference. ESLL will not subsist without parent volunteers!! Support ESLL and consider joining the Board! We encourage you to seek out friends/community members who you feel would be an asset to ESLL Board, and ask them to submit their nomination for election to next year's board. ESLL Board's core objective is to make decisions based on what is in the best interests of the kids and provide a memorable and positive experience for the players and all of its volunteers. The Board welcomes fresh ideas, new and advanced ways to improve league efficiency and continuous open dialogue with the general membership. You will find that participating on the board requires a personal time commitment and a lot of hard work; however you will end the season finding it to have been a rewarding experience as you embrace new friendships and a feeling of satisfaction that you have contributed and made a difference! The newly elected ESLL President assigns all the board positions. Although there is no guarantee of a specific position, if elected to the board, you are given the opportunity to advise the president (in writing) what position you are interested in and/or feel you are best suited for based on your background and experience. For board job descriptions, see the ESLL Constitution by clicking here. (Scroll down to Article VII Duties and Powers of the Board.) If you are interested in running for the board, please: -
