The ESBA - Eastlake Tigers tryout dates have been set.  Tryouts will take place on 22 and 23 August 2009 for the 2010 season.  The Tryout Location will be at the City of Sammamish's Eastlake Community Fields located at 400 - 228th Avenue NE, Sammamish, WA  98074.  Try out times for the 22nd and 23rd of August are:

• 13U = 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.  -- Manager/Head Coach = Brian Buck
• 14U = 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.    -- Manager/Head Coach = Ryan Fujiwara (2010 Season Olympic Division)
• 15U = 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.   -- Manager/Head Coach Darrell Hines (2010 Season Olympic Division)
• 18U = 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.   -- Manager/Head Coach Kyle Larsen

There will be a make-up tryout day on 26 August 2009.  The "Make-Up" tryout location will be Marymoor Park Baseball Field #1.  The make-up tryout time for the 26th of August is:

• 13U, 14U, 15U, and 18U = 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. -- All Coaches

A typical season includes:

• League Season runs from April/May through July (Varies depending on level)
• Indoor Winter Workouts begin in November and go through mid-March
• Outdoor practice sessions begin in March throughout the Season
• Instructional development all throughout Winter Workouts
• Uniforms and Other Team Apparel
• All League and Practice Games
• League and Umpire Fees
• Multiple Tournaments

Congratulations to the ESBA Eastlake Tigers 18U team for winning the highly competitive 2009 Palouse Series Tournament and finishing First Place!!!  The team really pulled together to win five straight games which included the final game 7-2 against the Columbia River Dogs.  Joseph Johnson III took tournament MVP for both his defensive and offense work, Ryan Ota Pitcher, and Zach Watson for Defensive Gold Glove.

Recently players from the Eastlake Tigers 13U team got together and worked with the ESBA organization to donate uniforms to the "RBI" organiztion.  Their work was a resounding success!!!  Way to go!!!
