Congratulations to Erne Eagles for their fine victory in sundays final. There were some fine performanes to applaud, most impressive were those of Gary Reilly,Gerry Clerkin, and Damien McArdle. The introduction of the impressive James Anderson for lack luster Jim Reilly proved to be turning point in the game.Jims recent run of bad performances has been well documented in the club.Speculation is growing about his future&
some say he is hanging up his boots. Not before time in this followers eyes!

From following rounders in Ireland it is easy to see that erne eagles dominate the game on this Island, this is mainly due to the fact that they have a good team spirit and in James Anderson they have the second best pitcher in Ireland, however the real jewel has to be their third base player Damien Mc Ardle. He has single handly carried this team on his back and i think its a disgrace he has never been made captain yet. Who would have thought that a player would have outgrown such a great club.
Another thing is I know he is brillant everywhere and yous play him everywhere but his best position is catcher, he and Anderson seem to have an almost telephatic understanding between them.

I am a keen follower of the sport of rounders, erne eagles have many good players. I would like to protest about the fact that james anderson has never been senior mens captain.many say that he is the key to your clubs recent found sucess!I await develpoments in the new year to see whether or not his outstanding contribution to the game be acknowledged by this club! if he is not duly rewarded i can only assume he will be poached by rival clubs!
