ERIN MILLS SOCCER CLUB COACHES REFERENCE: Archives and Other : KEEPING YOUR REP DIRECTOR INFORMED

KEEPING YOUR REP DIRECTOR INFORMED
Please keep your Rep Director informed promptly of any significant issues related to your team and the Club's overall responsibility.

This includes:

1- Significant injuries to players (anything that involves hospitalization related to soccer activities - games or practices.

We need to hear the story from our coaches first and not later from concerned parents.
We need to make sure that all of the appropriate documentation and insurance detailed are extended to the injured player as soon as possible.
We need to make sure that the circumstances are investigated thoroughly - immediately and not weeks later.

2- General parent/player issues that might show up on my doorstep. The potential issue list is too long to document here.

3- Serious discipline delivered by a game official to any of our players, bench staff and parent/spectators.
This includes any red cards, staff ejections from games, parent ejections from games and other post game incidents that are likely to be reported to your league for discipline.

In addition, any other significant incidents that involved your opponent that may require your witness appearance at a discipline hearing.

Make sure that you clearly understand what is being reported by the game official BEFORE you leave the field. Your game sheets should clearly indicate the offences and who is involved. Record all facts before you leave the field.

4- Any other issues that feel need the Club's attention and/or intervention.
