Hello Erindale Little League,

Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs. We are thinking about the Closing Day parade and party wishing we could be there.

We miss you all!

Good luck in 2006. Our website has some great photos especially of my trip to the Little League World Series, where I was an usher; and of the recent improvements to our complex. Please check them out and feel free to sign our guestbook.

ATTENTION ERINDALE TEAMS FROM TEE BALL ALL THE WAY UP TO OBA...

Congratulations on a terrific regular season. I've seen vast improvements from every single player in every division - beginning all the way at the bottom in the Junior T-Ball Division, and ending with the "big boys" and "big girls" in our OBA and MGSA programs. We can thank all of our hard working... dedicated... enthusiastic coaches for that!!!

I'd like to personally congratulate every player and coach for learning at least 100 new things this season... from start till end... even if it meant learning that YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP AT EVERY PRACTICE (usually players and parents learn that early on). I've even noticed that parents have picked up on particular rules... good job!

The regular season was absolutely spectacular. I met countless new members of the Erindale Family throughout the season (mainly at the T-Ball and Rookie Ball levels), and many I will have to meet on CLOSING DAY! Speaking of which... be sure to get your floats ready for SEPTEMBER 10 - parade... then games... then awards... then party on the field all evening!!!

Congratulations on an excellent season. Keep up the great work. The Erindale Executive has worked endlessly at ensuring this season was a successful one - be sure to find a member sometime over the next couple of weeks and thank him or her. I definitely look forward to closing day, as well as having all of the players return to Erindale for an exciting 2006 season!

A couple of interesting notes:

* Closing Day - September 10th
* Winter Skills Clinics for ALL LEVELS... talk to Kevin Hogg regarding where/when and be sure to check out the website during the winter for frequent clinic updates!
* Winter Umpire Clinics - check out my website (linked above) for the umpires
* AGM - It's in October, and it's YOUR time to contribute to the league... be sure to be there!!!
* Baseball Registration for 2006... look for the signs on streets and forms in the mail in early 2006.

GREAT REGULAR SEASON PLAYED BY ALL. BEST OF LUCK IN THE 2005 PLAYOFF SEASON!

Yours In Baseball,
Andy O'Brien

I grew up playing girls/ladies softball in Erindale in the late 60's & early 70's - I lived on CreditWoodlands Drive next to Springfield Public School - would anyone have any photos/pics/stories to share - heard from Michelle Dunsford & she has recently lost some valuable pics of us - Cheryl Cirka, Annie Herron, the Hadlow sisters, Judy Howell - to name a few - if anyone is out there - would love to hear from you !
Thanks to All !

Great web site. I think that you should not advertise LL baseball(minor & major) as boys ball. I think that you discourage female players from playing the game. LL baseball is for both female & male players alike. LL stands for many great things. I would like to see more girls playing hard ball and not being geared towards softball.
Have a great season to all participants!
