Cayuga did not pay their $ 10 fee from 1972 and would have to pay this outstanding debt before being allowed to compete in the 1973 season. A lengthy report was given by the umpires association and was presented by Bill Hodgson, Jack Tyne and Hugh Wardell.
Umpires fees would be $ 7 to do the plate and $ 6 for the bases. Mileage would be 20 cents with a maximum of $ 4. Umpires are to be paid by the 5th inning. The umpires left a copy of their constitution with the Secretary. The league accepted a motion for teams to post a $ 25 bond to cover unpaid umpire fees and forfeits.
