ELL CODE OF CONDUCT
ERIAL LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL CODE OF CONDUCT Against Violence on the Fields
The Erial Little League Baseball program has established a Code of Conduct for the protection of all players, parents, officials and the general public for all league sanctioned games and activities.
Erial Little League Code of Conduct
No Player, Coach, League Official, Parent or Spectator shall:
· Engage in any physical confrontation or threaten physical abuse on or off the field with any other player, coach, league official or spectator. Violation of this Code will result in immediate removal from ELL fields, Local Law enforcement interaction and an automatic 30-day suspension up to dismissal. · Taunt for a reaction in an Unsportsman-like manner toward another player, coach or person. Violators will be subject to Disciplinary Action. · Use any form or type of profanity in on or around any ELL facility or field. Violators will be subject to immediate Disciplinary Action. · Throw or cause to be deposited any object on the field of play with the intention to disrupt or cause dismay to an ELL game or practice. Violators will be subject to a written warning, 3 game suspension for a second offense and possible dismissal from ELL participation for any subsequent offenses of this nature. · Destroy the property of or commit an act of theft against any ELL participant or other. Violators will be subject to criminal prosecution · Report to a game or practice inappropriately dressed. Violators will be asked to leave the field and report back to the field with proper attire. (Sneakers, socks, pants/shorts, shirt, or hats should be worn at all times) · Intentionally harass a games umpire with the intent to disturb the peace of the game. Violators will be subject to a written warning followed by subsequent 1 game suspension for additional acts of harassment. · Intentionally disregard a rule, policy or request set forth by his/her commissioner, which jeopardizes the safety of another Player, Coach, League Official or Spectator. Violators shall be subject to a written warning, after which time, subsequent violations of this sort by that manager, coach or player shall result in a (1) game suspension for each additional offense.
Any violations of this code will be referred to the ELL Code of Conduct Committee for Sanctions. When necessary, incidents will be reported to the Gloucester Township Police Department. All violations will be kept on file for no less than three years from the date of the incident and will used as the "Last Incident" in the three-year period. This Code extends to all ELL Travel Teams and Tournament Teams. NOTE: Any combination of the above listed violations may lead to permanent suspension as an ELL participant.
