Don't forget Softball sign-ups the last 2 Saturdays in Jan. and the 1st 3 Saturdays in Feb. Sign-up time are 10am-2pm at the East Recreation Center.

Lots Of Good Things For 2011
Things have been busy already and 2011 looks to be a great year for the ERGSA. Lots of work has been doing to Camp Jordan Park The last 2 yrs. New Lights have been added, Parking Lots and walk ways have been paved. New score boxes on both the Girls and Boys fields. New Siding on the concessions and club houses. Now lets play ball.

ERGSA LOSES 2 OF THEIR OWN
We at the ERGSA have been saddened by the loss of Two of our long time coaches and league officers in 2010. Robert Simpson a long time coach at the ERGSA leaves behind a wife and daughter. Richard Floyd had been a coach and league officer in the ERGSA for several years and leaves behind a daughter and son.
Taking Pictures for the ERGSA Website 2009
We will be taking digital pictures pretty soon to add to our website. This will start at our ERGSA tournament and go on thoughout the season. So coaches please advise your parents of this upcoming event. We dont want to alarm anyone and want everyone to be aware of our efforts.
We will have several parents taking pictures this year to help us make sure every team has pictures on the website. Karen Schaffer will be directed most of this project.

A little news about the ERGSA website. As I add teams to the website I can add a team email address to the site so others can contact you. If you want your e-mail address added to team site on the ERGSA website e-mail me @ ergsa@hotmail.com. IF you dont want to use your personal address you can create your team a e-mail address from free on hotmail.com. A couple of examples are ( ergsa@hotmail.com, americangirlsfp@hotmail.com, ergsaladymocsfp@hotmail.com).

Where To Get Your Softball Gear
As many of you already know the face mask is mandatory for batting helmets this season. We get ask all the time where are the best places to find your softball equipment. Some of the best places to find equipment are your local department stores such as Walmart, K-Mart, Target, you have several sporting goods stores in the area.
