  Hurricane NEWS: Hurricanes earn 3-0 shutout victory!

Hurricanes earn 3-0 shutout victory!
For their fifth game of the BCSA Spring season, the Empire Hurricanes posted a 3-0 shutout victory against the Sidney Tempest. The first goal came from outside the goal box and ended up in the far lower left corner of the net, scored by Ashley. The Hurricanes second goal came about 10 minutes later, also scored by Ashley. It all started with a beautiful header assist from Chelsea at half field, Ashley took the ball and shot it in the upper right corner. SarahS scored the third and last goal; she was right there when the ball deflected off the opposing goalkeeper. That final goal made it 3-0 at half.

            The second half was a bit different than the first. Neither team scored but Empire’s goalie, Bianca, had some amazing saves. Sidney controlled most of the half but the score remained 3-0.

Special thanks to all of the mothers on their special day! Mothers in attendance recieved a commemorative game program and flowers.
