Hurricanes suffer first loss to Oneonta 2-0.(pictures added!)

The Hurricanes traveled to Oneonta on a beautiful Sunday May afternoon
to play the Oneonta Outbreak. The Outbreak forged a 2 goal margin at halftime.
Hurricane goalie Bianca G. had several fine saves in the first half as the Hurricanes had difficulty mounting offensive pressure. In the seond half, the defense and mid-field kept the ball in the attacking third much of the time. However, the Oneonta defense held strong resulting in few shots on their keeper.

The Hurricanes were treated to ice-cream bars right after the game.
Thank you PARENTS! A real treat on a hot day!

The Hurricane Family proceeded to enjoy some fine cuisine at the famous Brook's Barbecue (not related to our center midfileder!) A great soccer day to be sure!
