ELS Eagles Football: Welcome
Thanks for visiting the East Louisville Sports Eagles Football site. We are glad to be in our 2nd season after merging with one of Louisville, KY's Elite youth football programs. The Middletown Eagles Youth Football program has had a successful tradition for many years in the area and city and look forward to building off the strong foundation of past and present Eagles as we strive to be the Best. We offer 3 Tackle Youth Football programs based on ages as of July 31st. Mighty Mites (5-7), JV (8-10), and Varsity (11-13). We play our home games at Eastern High School and participate in the KYFL (Kentuckiana Youth Football League) National Conference.
Our goal is to develop well rounded youth who learn not only the fundamentals of football, but also the importance of education and teamwork, in an atmosphere conductive to developing sound mind, body and character - and having a good time along the way. Our program stresses learning lessons of value far beyond the playing days such as self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, respect and good sportsmanship. Safety is our top concern. We encourage our youth to strive to win and get better each and every day having a work ethic of hard work, dedication, and determination to be able to allow them the opportunity to reach any goals they set for themselves.
"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand" - Vince Lombardi
