PITCHING INSIDE 101
 | | | CAN'T FIND THE PLATE IN A KITCHEN!! | |
This is a sad day in Elrosa. We have just learned that the last team in the SCL finally figured out that Adam "Wild Thing" Breitbach can't consistently throw strikes. He has always had a problem with throwing the ball over the plate, locating his fastball, and mainly throwing in general. His ability to throw consistenly was questioned over the weekend, but "BCC" answered all critics with his 7 balls to the backstop, 3 walks, and 1 hit batsmen. Some people beleive that this was an isolated case when in fact, his throwing problems date back a long time. There was that infamous high school start at the Metrodome in which he walked the first 5 batters of the ballgame, walked off the mound, and tossed his glove into the dugout from the 3rd base line. There was also a time when "Pedro" held the record for the most consectutive balls thrown by an Elrosa Saint. He reluctantly gave that title up a few years later to his fellow BCC investor, Dustin Breitbach. Hopefully, this clears up any gray area that might be out there about Adam's ability to throw strikes and hopefully it provides enough information SO THAT THE NEXT TIME HE THROWS AN INSIDE PITCH WHEN HIS TEAM IS TRAILING 10-1, 12-1, AND 14-1 IN THE 9TH INNING, HE IS NOT TRYING TO "THROW AT" THE OPPOSING HITTER, HE IS TRYING TO THROW STRIKES.
