REGAL--The Elrosa Saints got a complete game pitching effort from Ethan Vogt and the Saints put together enough runs to earn one of the two seeds at next week's State Amateur Baseball Tournament in Red Wing and Miesville by beating Lake Henry 4-1 Saturday afternoon in Regal. Vogt drove in two runs at the plate and Pat "Vapor Lock" Illies and Matt "Gumbi" Bauer each knocked in RBI's to help lead the Saints offensively. This will be the first state tourney appearance for Elrosa since advancing in consecutive years in 2002 and 2003. The Saints then dropped a 3-1 heartbreaker to St. Martin in the seeding game Sunday afternoon.
