  Welcome

Welcome to the Elmwood Summer Youth League Website!
-Explore the pages at the left.  You may have to be added as a Fan to access some content.

-After doing this for 5 years, I am looking for some help to begin the transition to a new director(s).  I would like to concentrate on raising funds to improve the facilities.  I have thought about the different areas that could use an individual to lead.  One person committed to a certain aspect of the league could do a much better job than me trying to oversee the whole thing.  If you would like to help out, consider taking on one of the positions below:

 Field Maintenance Manager

  • Diamond Maintenance
  • Schedule fields
  • Practice schedule
  • Work w/Alex preparing diamonds
  • Call rain-outs

 Concession Stand Manager

  • Open/Close Concession Stand
  • Find workers
  • Organize work schedule
  • Help with stock
  • Track finances
 Equipment Manager
  • Pass out and collect equipment
  • Purchase equipment
  • Purchase Gameballs
  • Create/maintain equipment inventory list
 Uniform Manager
  • Find Sponsors
  • Order shirts and hats
  • Place sponsors with teams
  • Organize picture day
If you are interested in any of these positions, email the league at elmwoodsyl@yahoo.com

"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." - Hank Aaron
