Elmira Cinderella Softball: Safety

Due to concerns regarding the safety and well being of all players, coaches and volunteers, Elmira Cinderella Softball League has inducted the following safety regulations for players during the regular season as well as tournament play.
DRESS CODE FOR PRACTICE AND GAMES:
No bell bottoms, or wide leg jeans
Regular jeans, sweatpants, windpants, baseball pants or shorts are acceptable.
Shorts are to be at arm length while arms are down to side.
No sandels
Socks and sneakers, or spikes(NO metal) are the only acceptable footwear.
No loose long hair
If longer than shoulders, hair must be pulled back with a cloth pony tail holder
a hat or visor must be worn.
No jewelry
No jewelry is allowed, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, barrettes, and
hairclips.
PARENT/GUARDIAN SUPERVISION FOR PRACTICE AND GAMES:
Each child must have at least one responsible adult at all events, or in case that is impossible, that a phone number be provided in which you can be reached at that specific time.
We ask this in case we have emergencies or cancellations due to inclimate conditions-we need to have you there or need to be able to contact you at that moment.
ELMIRA CINDERELLA
Will attempt to have a cell phone on each field as much as possible in case of emergencies.
Reserves the right to not allow children to play if they are not in compliance with the safety rules listed above.
Will make sure that a first aid kit is available in case of emergency.
IT IS NOT THE INTENT OF ELMIRA CINDERELLA TO PREVENT ANY CHILD FROM PLAYING; AS IT IS OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE A SAFE HEALTHY ATMOSPHERE FOR ALL GIRLS TO PLAY BALL. PLEASE EXPLAIN THEM TO YOUR PLAYER. WHEN DISCUSSING THESE RULES WITH THEM, WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL DO YOUR BEST TO STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF ADHERING TO THEM.
