Welcome to the ELMIRA CINDERELLA SOFTBALL Web Site. We are NOW registering our girls for another great season of ELMIRA CINDERELLA SOFTBALL. We have worked very hard during the off -season to try and make improvements in our program. We really believe this will be the best season ever for Elmira Cinderella Softball. Our new President, Lou Grazioso has some great ideas and our board members are dedicated to making this program one of the best in our area. Come join us and be a part of this resurgence. "Many hands make light work" and we would welcome your help. Girls, come join up and we will do our very best to make this an enjoyable experience.
We are a fastpitch softball program for girls from age 5 to 16 based in Elmira, NY. In a normal year we have somewhere between 150 and 200 girls in our program. We try to teach them all aspects of the game while keeping the competition at an acceptable level at the same time.
    In an age where we can turn on our television to watch a sporting event and be "entertained" with a display of basketball players going into the stands to fight with fans, football and baseball players getting involved in doing the same, we need to show our children that practicing "good sportsmanship" is the real way to play the game. We at Elmira Cinderella Softball have made it our objective to teach sportsmanship even before teaching the game. Certainly the fundamentals of the game are VERY important in playing softball. We believe that players and coaches, as well as ALL those involved INCLUDING PARENTS , need to learn the qualities of sportsmanship. Our sports are in many ways an example of the game of life. Life isn't always fair. Sad to say that, but it is true. Our objective is to prepare our girls for life in general, and not just softball. It is our desire to teach our girls the game of softball in its entirety, but also how to handle things in life.
    Moms.....Dads, lets let our kids learn how to handle life and its misgivings as well as softball. Help us out with the league in general, but at least in trying to teach these lessons which are just as important (maybe even more so). Perhaps there are those who get carried away with the sport, but lets make sure that OUR GIRLS learn all of the lessons that are necessary to survive in life. If Elmira Cinderella can help our girls learn some of these lessons while still teaching he game we love, then we are happy to be involved in the development of your (our) children.
    Most of our games are played at Brand Park on Elmira's Southside. Stop by during our season and enjoy a game with us. Stop by our concession stand and have something good to eat too. You will always be welcome
