EASTERN LITTLE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
The Astros clinched the Regular Season Championship and reached their magic number 1 last night with an 11-5 Win over the Indians! Trevor Hammonds got the win, by starting the game and Ty Maronde came in relief. Charlie Sininger started the offensive rally by hitting a triple in the first inning and gave the Astros a 3-0 lead and they never looked back! Ray Brewer returns to the Astros on Saturday as the Astros finish the regular season and prepare for next weeks park tournanament. The Astros should be the number 1 seed beginning on Monday. The park tournament concludes on Saturday the 23rd of June.

"This has been an excellent team where everyone contributes and supports each other. And we give credit to the Pirates who made a great run at us with their winning streak towards the end of the season, but Thursday nights game I saw my players just want it and they went out and beat an excellent pitcher and team, who had beat us earlier in the year." Coach Tim

"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." - Hank Aaron
