Elkton Litte League adheres to the official age requirements as posted on www.littleleague.org

We use the term "League Age" to determine the division you will be eligible for.
 

Little League Age Chart for 2009 – Softball Only

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 2003, and Dec. 31, 2003 = league age 5.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 2002, and Dec. 31, 2002 = league age 6.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 2001, and Dec. 31, 2001 = league age 7.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 2000, and Dec. 31, 2000 = league age 8.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1999, and Dec. 31, 1999 = league age 9.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1998, and Dec. 31, 1998 = league age 10.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1997, and Dec. 31, 1997 = league age 11.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1996, and Dec. 31, 1996 = league age 12.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1995, and Dec. 31, 1995 = league age 13.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1994, and Dec. 31, 1994 = league age 14.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1993, and Dec. 31, 1993 = league age 15.

A person born on or between the dates of January 1, 1992, and Dec. 31, 1992 = league age 16.
 

SOFTBALL NOTES:

5 & 6 year old 1st year players are required to play one year of Tee-Ball.
If you enter Elkton Little League at league age 7, you can go directly into Minor B.
