Welcome to the beginning of a new season with Elkhart FOP Little League!
Saturday May 5, 2012 is our opening day!
When you register your child for the summer baseball season they are also registered for our Fall Ball season that we call Backyard Baseball.
Backyard Baseball is for boys and girls ages 7-12. It’s all mixed up! There are different teams and different coaches than the summer season. There is no majors, minors, machine pitch or softball...everyone is playing together! No uniforms to buy. The games are every Tuesday & Thursday at 6 pm for 3 weeks.
Just 6 games of kids being kids and playing for the Love of the Game!Your child is not required to play in the fall league, nor is there a charge for any child to play in the fall league. Backyard Baseball is a wonderful experience for all of the children especially for the younger children who finally get the chance to play on equal grounds as the "big kids". It is also a great way for the teams to get to know each other and make new friends.

The absolute dealine for registrations is March 24, 2012.
Player drafts are on March 24, 2012. Any players who register after March 24, 2012 will be put on a waiting list and called up to replace players that have withdrawn from the program, had an injury or do not have their registration fees paid.
** Returning players have the option of rapid renewal by simply calling the Player Agent and updating over the phone (in English only). Your information will be updated on the computer and printed out and can be signed by the parent when they come to pay their fees and submit registration requirements.
What's needed to register:
- Registration form: forms will be provided at the sign-up locations.
- If this is your child’s 1st year playing you MUST bring your child's original, NOT HOSPITAL birth certificate.
- All players, new or returning MUST bring 3 proofs of residency dated on or before February 1 of the current year, to prove they are in our district. Example: Driver’s License, Voter’s Registration, School records, Welfare/child care records, Federal or State records, Court records, Support payment records, Homeowner or tenant records, Utility bills (only 1 acceptable), Financial records, Insurance documents, Medical records, Military records, Internet, cable or satellite records, Vehicle records, Employment records
- Registration fees: If not paid at registration it must be paid in full no later than April 1st in order for the child to receive a uniform and be permitted to play. If fees are not paid by April 1st, your child will be put on the waiting list until the fees are paid.
2012 Fees
1 Child $50.00
2 children from the same immediate family $75.00
$25 for each additional child from the same immediate family.
