EGSC: Volunteers

Volunteer Information

The Elk Grove Soccer Club is a volunteer organization that provides programs and services due to the hard work and dedication of many parents, and members of the Elk Grove Village community.

Over the course of time, the volunteer parents to the EGSC Board have slowly left their positions as their children have grown and moved on to high school.

The volunteer, nomination and election of members for the board over the past few years has been extremely low in turn out. In most cases, we have had to actively pursue parents to fill the open positions, just to keep the soccer program in existence. This is the time for the EGSC parents of younger players to step forward and volunteer their time to keep the EGSC sound and stable and to continue to offer soccer to the children of Elk Grove Village.

If you are interested in volunteering your time for this worthy cause, please contact any Soccer Board member on the contact page (click on contacts on the left margin).

Other EGSC Volunteer Positions

The Elk Grove Soccer Club is a volunteer organization that is affiliated with the Elk Grove Park District. The Elk Grove Park District provides us with registration support, fields to play on, and the maintenance of those fields. The 250-300 volunteers on an annual basis provide the remainder of the EGSC needs. This is the beginning of a campaign to recruit volunteer parents to share their time in the continued development, growth, and management of the EGSC. Please review the volunteer positions below to see if any of them are of interest to you.
