USATF & AAU STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS
There were a number of commendable performances from the Elite Runners representatives in both the AAU and USATF State Championship meets.  At the USATF State Meet, Sub Bantam Millicent McCoy ran a strong race winning the race becoming NJ State Champion.  On the Sub Bantam boys side Markus Bagley battled from beginning to end  resulting in a 2nd place finish and also leading the Sub Bantam Boys to a 2nd place team finish.  The rest of the Sub Bantam Boys team consists of:  Steven Payne, Amiri Tulloch, Ryan Soto, Christian Figueroa, Avery Shibata, and Noel Walkes.  The Bantam Girls also finished in a strong 2nd place as a team with the team consisting of:  Brittany Gasser, Emily Shibata, and Kimari Brown. Brittany Dabel, and Francesca Muccilli. At the AAU District Championship, Primary Markus Bagley once again battled from start to finish resulting in a 4th place finish and leading the Primary Boys team to a 2nd place.  In the Primary Girls race Millicent McCoy, plagued by injury, finished in a respectable 2nd place.  Brittany Gasser, battling illness, ran a strong race in the Bantam division finishing in 2nd place. Results for the Championship races and season results are now available.

ELITE RUNNERS CROSS COUNTRY NATIONAL TEAM

Congratulations to Markus Bagley and Brittany Gasser whom both medaled at the AAU National Championships.  Brittany placed 13th in the Bantam Division and Markus Bagley 23rd in the Primary Division. 

The following members also represented the Elite Runners at the AAU Junior Olympics National Championships held on 12/1 at Virginia Beach, VA.

COLGATE FINALISTS TO COMPETE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
Congratulations to Jordyn Smith and Mikayla Stone; both are finalists at the 2008 Colgate Women's Games and will compete on the legendary track at Madison Square Garden on February 2nd.  Jordyn Smith will compete in the finals of the Middle School 55M dash and Mikayla in the Grade 1 - 3 55M dash.  We'll be there to cheer you on!!!  Good luck to you both!!!

ELITE RUNNERS GIRLS TEAM TAKES 1ST AT TSUNAMI INVITATIONAL

Led by multiple medal winners including Jordyn Smith,  Kelis Battle,  Nadia Hernandez, Tatyana Butler, Stephanie Britton and several single medal winners, the Girls Team captures the 1st Annual Tsunami Invitational held on 6/14 at the Hub Stine Field, Plainfield.  Congratulations to members of the squad on their achievement.

Other notable performances belonged to multiple medal winners on the Boys Team, Markus Bagley,and Shawn Jaison.
