ELGIN NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE: SUMMER 2009 (current season) Divisions

T-BALL AGE 5-6
The T-Ball division is for first time players who are league age 5 or 6. League age is determined by the players age as of March 31st of the playing year. Players hit off of a T and everyone bats and plays the field. Outs and runs are not counted at this level. The focus is on learning basic playing skills and baseball terminology.

INSTRUCTIONAL AGE 6-7
The Instructional level is designed for children who have had at least 1 year of t-ball or who are league age 7 and have never played. Coaches pitch to the children and outs are counted at this level.
