Fox Valley Area Jr. Soccer Development ProgramSponsored by: ECSA, HOVA, KASA (Kaukauna, Little Chute, Kimberly)

Overview

The Jr. Soccer Development Program is a joint effort by ECYSC, HOVSA and KASA designed for Recreational Players who are looking for new challenges, are good listeners, are willing to learn, and want additional quality training. This program does not replace the Spring Recreational Program, but does provide an opportunity for additional training from licensed coaches. The purpose of this program is to build upon a technical foundation for players who truly love the game of soccer.

How the Program Works

Players who sign up for this program can expect to practice twice a week. Then each week on another evening or Saturday morning there will be a “game event”. These game events will consist of multiple 20 to 30 minute games between those attending on a given evening or Saturday AM. There will not be fixed rosters and in some cases different ages and genders can be mixed. The events may be hosted by our clubs or we may have other events at some of the neighboring clubs. The focus is on player development vs winning.

Where and when will the practices be held?

The Fall Session will from Tuesday, September 11 and will meet each Tuesday and Thursday until October 18 at Combined Locks Memorial Park (405 Wallace St, Combined Locks). The Spring Session will run 10 weeks May through mid- July. Depending upon the number of registrations, there may be an early and late session.

Where and when will games be held?

Games will be held on Saturdays from 9:45 until about noon at Combined Locks Memorial Park (405 Wallace St, Combined Locks). You will be notified at practice what date games will start. Players will have an opportunity to play different positions and with a variety of ages.

What are the ages for this program?

This program is open to all players turning 7, 8, 9, or 10 between August 1st, 2012 through July 31st, 2013.
What is the cost?

The cost is $100 for the Soccer year (Fall and Spring Sessions). There will also be an optional indoor session offered in January and February for $30. Should a player opt to play “traditional” recreational soccer in the Spring, they may do so. However, players choosing to do this will be equally distributed among the teams of their home club.
