East Kentwood Falcons Place at State Finals

Michigan USA Freestyle Wrestling State Finals,
@ Battle Creek Kellogg Arena are complete.
Two East Kentwood Falcons were soaring high @
Battle Creek.
East Kentwood Falcon Austin Wieczorek,
spread his mighty wings as far as they would go Saturday.
Austin @ 50Lbs Bantam (7 & 8 Year Olds), placed 2nd in the State finals.
Austin started the competition for all EK Falcons with a :17 Second pin.
Austin was 4-1 for the day.
Not to be out done by a smaller EK Falcon,
Jake Bohn stepped to the mat for Greco Roman
later in the evening. East Kenwood Falcon Jake Bohn,
not only spread his wings, but displayed great use of his talon's for the entire
weekend.
Jake went 5-0 and is the Junior 145Lbs Greco
Roman State Champion.
Then Sunday (5/6) Jake Bohn, stepped back onto the mat for
the Michigan USA Freestyle State Finals in the Junior Division.
Jake beat some tough competition & made some good use of his talons.
In front of a packed crowd, Jake provided some excitement by
pinning a 2X State Champion late in the second period.
Jake went 4-0 and is the Junior 145Lbs Freestyle State Champion.
