Thank you to all who registered and took part in our first effort at summer soccer, your cooperation was much appreciated. Hope everyone had a great first day. On the last day we'll be doing a group photo between 6-6:15 so please plan to be there for that in your new Tee!
U5-U8 Summer Soccer 2008 Training Updates...
Girls and Boys:
Training for the U5 thru U8 groups (same age group you were this past Spring) will take place on Tuesdays starting July 15, 2008.
Training dates are 7/15,22,29 and 8/5,12,19...
All players need to wear cleats and shin guards and bring their own soccer ball and water bottle. The bathrooms will be open, but the concession stand will not be.
U5's (birthdates between 8/1/02-7/31/03) and
U6's (birthdates between 8/1/01-7/31/02) will play from 5pm-6pm
U7's (birthdates between 8/1/00-7/31/01) and
U8's (birthdates between 8/1/99-7/31/00) will play from 6:15pm-7:15pm
There were a few players that won't be U5 til Fall '08 that registered, they should come at the U5 time slot
All players officially move up to the next age group for the Fall 2008 season.
SO... for Fall Intramurals, summer U5's become U6, summer U6's become U7, and so on...
U8 (becoming U9 officially on August 1, 2008) Girls League play will be on Wednesdays, There will be an additional fee for the league, the coaches will let you know.
At the present time we do not have enough interest in the U7's or U8 boys for league participation, but training will go on as scheduled.
Prime Time Sports will be providing trainers for all the age groups for the entire program, with some help from seasoned volunteers. Check out their website to see all the other programs they offer www.primetimesc.com
Phone calls were made on 7/8 to everyone that registered by June 6, It seems we missed about 2 dozen players who registered at the festival on June 7 and maybe a few that sent in forms late. Please just come down Tuesday about 15 minutes prior to your child's assigned age-group time-slot and we'll assign a group. If you would like to check on your summer registration email Chris at swimcoachchris@optonline.net.
All future updates, cancellations, reschedules will be posted on this website so please check back regularly.
