2004 Men's World Championship NZ Three-peat
The 11th Men's World Championship Tournament in Christchurch, New Zealand, was won by the hometeam New Zealand Black Sox for the third consecutive time. The only other team to win three consecutive crowns in the quadrennial event was the United States in 1986 (Auckland), 1990 (Normal IL, USA) and 1994 (St. John's, Canada). New Zealand has won all three since then, 1996 (Midland MI, USA) and 2000 (Cape Town).
