Local youth, both boys and girls, are invited to participate in the exciting Eilat Softball League. We will start our eighteenth season in September, 2011. The Noar (Youth) Division, ages 12-18, play modified and fastpitch. The season lasts from November to May.
   League championship playoffs are in April and May. Our Softball Awards outing on the Red Sea is in May/June. Youth games are played every Friday or Saturday at the all-grass Municipal Stadium, Rehov Kampen, or the Rabin Stadium, Sderot Sheshet haYamim, in Eilat, Israel, on the Red Sea. Newcomers and visitors are invited.
   The Peanuts Division, ages 9-11, play modified pitch on Tuesday on the grass at the Yovel Park, next to the IMAX theatre on Yotam Road.
The Bogrim (Adult) team has played in the Israel Softball Assn. National League and the Gillet Fall Tournament. Currently, adults play in our Saturday open games and our Over The Line beach softball games at the Beach Sport Stadium.    The ESL was founded in 1995, by Jack Kurtz, a Sabra from Tel-Aviv, who spent many years in the United States. A non-profit, registered association was established in 1999. We are members of the Israel Softball Association and Otzma-Israel Center of Sport Clubs.
       We are proud participants in the annual Hanukka Invitational Tournament (HIT) in December and the Israel Junior Men's National Championship during the Passover holiday.
