HEAD COACH JAMIE MCGROARTY
Coach McG completes the 2009 season in his 18th year as a head coach. He has amassed a record of 262-84-26 at both Delsea HS (11 yrs) and now at Eastern(7 yrs). He is one of only two coaches in SJ girls history to win an outright State Championship at two different schools. In '93 his Delsea team captured SJ's first Group 3 title, and in 2005 the Vikings became the first Olympic Conference and the first public school from SJ to win a Group 4 State Championship. The Vikings repeated the feat in 2006 becoming back-to-back State Champs. The Vikings are just the 3rd Group IV school in the state to win two straight outright state championships (2005 and 2006). He was named Courier Post and NFHS State Coach of the Year in 2005, as well as NJSIAA/NJSCA State Coach of the year in 2006. His teams have been ranked in the end-of-season Top 20 in 16 of his 18 seasons, in the top 10, 12 times, and a top 5 team 6 times.
Coach McG is a graduate of Cherry Hill West where he was an All-State player under Coach Ira Kosloff. He then moved on to Glassboro State College, and under Coach Dan Gilmore(Rowan Univ.) he earned 1st team All-America honors as well as several College Player of the Year awards. His teams won four straight undefeated NJAC conference championships. He finished his career as GSC's 2nd all-time leading scorer. He also was inducted into the CH West, Rowan/GSC and SJ Soccer Hall of Fame.
He is married to Amy (Bender) who herself was an All-American at Elizabethtown College and inducted into the E-Town Athletic Hall of Fame. They have two kids. Kelli who is 8 and Keegan who is 6. They reside in West Deptford.

COACH MATT KOGER
COACH KOGER COMPLETED HIS 7TH YEAR AS AN EASTERN ASSISTANT COACH. HE HAS SERVED AT EVERY LEVEL HERE AT EASTERN, RANGING FROM VARSITY ASST, TO JV, AND NOW AS THE VIKING FRESHMAN COACH. HIS 2009 FRESHMAN TEAM WENT UNDEFEATED.
MATT IS A COLLEGE GRADUATE OF PENN STATE UNIVERSITY. HE PLAYED HS SOCCER AT SENECA VALLEY HS AND WAS A FORMER HIGH SCHOOL HEAD SOCCER COACH AT SPOTSWOOD HS (NJ) AS WELL. MATT IS RENOWNED FOR HIS FAMOUS "GREEN PANTS" AND A BELOVED FIGURE IN THE EASTERN GIRLS SOCCER FAMILY. COACH KOGER IS MARRIED AND COMMUTES FROM PENNSYLVANIA ON A DAILY BASIS.
HE IS ALSO ONE OF THE POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL COACHES AS WELL AS A CLASS ADVISOR.

COACH LEE GRIFFITH
COACH LEE GRIFFITH IS IN HIS 6TH YEAR AS A COACH WITH THE LADY VIKINGS. LEE WAS A GRADUATE OF HADDON HEIGHTS HS. HE PLAYED SOCCER AT HEIGHTS, WHERE HE EARNED ALL -COLONIAL CONFERENCE HONORS IN 1994 AS WELL AS HON. MENT. ALL-STATE.
HE THEN WENT ON TO PLAY COLLEGE BALL AT URSINUS COLLEGE. HE WAS KNOWN FOR HIS DIMINUTIVE SIZE AND ABILITY TO SCORE GOALS. FUNNY HOW THINGS CHANGE...NOW HE IS JUST KNOWN FOR HIS DIMINUTIVE SIZE. COACH LEE SPENT 2 YEARS AS THE FRESHMAN COACH, BEFORE MOVING UP TO HIS CURRENT ROLE AS JV COACH.
LEE IS MARRIED AND HAS TWO YOUNG CHILDREN.

VARSITY ASSISTANT- BOB BRY
Bob was a former standout college player at Dennison College in Ohio. He moved his family to New Jersey after a couple of other stops in places like West Virginia. He and his wife Patty have two kids, both former Eastern students. Megan, his oldest, was an Eastern HS soccer player and captain who earned 1st team All-SJ honors as a senior. She is currently an assistant coach for our Vikings. His son Tyler, attends Ithaca college.
Bob has a lengthy soccer background, especially with club soccer. His resume includes a long stop with nationally recognized Beadling SC of Ohio, and more recently with the Medford Strikers organization. Bob won many state championships at the club level, before coming to the Eastern program. He is in his 6th year with the Lady Vikings. Bob currently resides in Gibbsboro NJ with his wife Patty.
