New: Bat Specifications Beginning in 2012
For Kindergarten - 7th Grades: Beginning with the 2012 season, all non-wood baseball bats (aluminum, composites and others) used in EGCLLA play shall be imprinted with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less. Bats with a BPF higher than 1.15 or bats without a legible BPF label printed on the bat are not permitted for use. Bats with the BBCOR certification label (BBCOR .50) are also legal in K-7th grades.
For 8th-9th Grades: Beginning with the 2012 season, all non-wood baseball bats used in EGCLLA play must have the BBCOR certification label (BBCOR .50) to be legal.

EGCLLA Office at 1630 Tower Ave., Edwardsville:
Saturdays: February 4, 11, 18 from 10 am to 2 pm
Sundays: February 5, 12, 19 from 12 pm to 2 pm

We are proud to serve the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon area in providing summer, recreational baseball and tee-ball leagues. I have been an EGCLLA Board member since 1986, and I have served as the Commissioner since 1989. We feel that we have one of the best youth programs in the area, and we hope that your children and you enjoy your time as a part of our organization.

More About the EGCLLA:
The Edwardsville / Glen Carbon Little League Association (EGCLLA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides recreational summer baseball and tee ball leagues for children in Kindergarten through the 9th grade. The EGCLLA is organized and administered by a volunteer Board of Directors. The divisions of teams are formed by the child's current school grade during the Spring term and are organized as follows:
Kindergarten: tee ball (must be in Kindergarten during the Spring term to play that Summer)
1st grade: coach pitch
2nd grade: pitching machine
3rd grade: pitching machine
4th grade: 1st year pitch with special rules
5th-9th grade: regular baseball
