Disney Soccer Showcase

It was a fun tournament with many great teams attending. Not as bad as the scores indicate. Losing John our goalie halfway through our 2nd game to a RED card put us at a big disadvantage, especially with no backup goalie. Great job guys dispite the disadvantage.

Congrats Thunder on winning the Red Division of NERP. But, what can I say ... the Yorktown turf curse seems to continue as we dropped the NERP Championship game to Albertson Academy. Anyway, it was a great spring premier season and it's needless to say but the coaches, parents and supporters are very proud of your hard work and results.

USCS National Cup -- Region A

The Region A tourney brought the Thunder to face four talented teams in the U16 Super Group. The third game saw the Thunder knock out two time USCS Super Group national champion Carolina Goldstar Select. But, the great run ended in finals with a tough 0-1 loss to the Ironbound Blaze. The Blaze won the national USCS Premier championship last year and we wish them luck in the Super Group national this year.
