Magic Wins Another Tournament!!!
The Magic 8th/9th grade team won the Sac Area Sports "Summer Time B-Ball" tournament on July 14 and 15, marking the third tournament championship the club has won over the last eight weeks. The team opened the tournament with a 37-27 victory over a tough Lady Spirit team, followed by a 32-17 victory over Redding Elite. In the final game, the Magic trailed much of the way against a very talented Solano Elite team, but overcame a 9-point deficit to start the fourth quarter by going on a 17-3 run to close out the game, winning by a final score of 34-29.
