Mark your Calendars

The league has scheduled a Scorekeeper’s training clinic for Thursday, February 16th at 7:30pm at the Harding Clubhouse. Attendance during the first 15-20 minutes of this meeting is mandatory for ALL scorekeepers. The league has changed the job description for 2012 and we want to be sure that new and experienced scorekeepers receive this vital information. New volunteers should stay for the remainder of the meeting to learn how keep score.

Parents are invited to attend a PCA meeting on February 29. Visit the PCA Page for dates, times and details.

Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 3. More details will be available soon.

You can always check the ECYB Calendar for the latest updates as the season progresses.

Wait List Only Registration for Spring 2012

Registration for the all Divisions is full, but you can be put on a wait list in case spaces become available.

Sign up here or at the link on the upper left of this page.

What is El Cerrito Youth Baseball?

El Cerrito Youth Baseball is a non-profit, volunteer-run recreational baseball program for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 years old. (League age is determined as of April 30 for each year.) ECYB is affiliated with Pony Baseball, Inc. Kids learn sportsmanship, leadership, discipline, and teamwork. Annual Schedule

Registration for all divisions: September through October
Player evaluations: January
Practice begins: 1st week of February
Opening Day: 1st weekend of March
Season: March through 2nd week of June.

In an effort to maintain a fun and competitive league, ECYB strives to keep the skill level on each team as equal as possible. ECYB is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.
