This is a non-contact football camp that focuses on agility and conditioning.

**Each camper will receive an ECV camp shirt**

CHEERLEADING CAMP

THIS SEASON VIKINGS CHEERLEADERS AND FRIENDS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND CHEER CAMP FOR 2 FULL WEEKS. 

JULY 21ST-25TH   AND   JULY 28TH - AUG 1ST

6PM TO 7:30PM

COST: $125

** REGULAR SEASON CHEERLEADING PRACTICE WILL BEGIN MONDAY AUGUST 4TH AT 6PM **

PARENTS:  WE WILL HAVE OUR CHEERLEADING ORIENTATION

AT 6PM ON MONDAY THE 4TH.

EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION 

This year we are taking a new approach to handing out equipment.  Please help us by registering early and marking the equipment pick up days on your calendar.  All players will practice in helmets only the first 3 days of regular season practice. Football Practice begins MONDAY JULY 28th.  It is very important for your child to pick up his equipment prior to Monday July 28th. 

SATURDAY JULY 19TH  &  SATURDAY JULY 26TH

9am to 10am 

5 & 6 & 7 year old teams 

10am to 11 pm

8 & 9 year old teams 

11pm to 1pm

10 & 11 & 12 year old teams 

**JULY 28th**:  REGULAR SEASON FOOTBALL PRACTICE BEGINS

Please have your child dressed in T-shirt, shorts and cleats for the first 3 days of football practice.  Each child is required to practice for 3 days in helmet only, prior to dressing out in shoulder pads and practice pants.  Also, please remember to purchase a mouth piece. 

**HEAT POLICY** East Cobb Vikings follow the Cobb County Wet Bulb Temperature guidelines for outdoor practice.  We will use a digital psychrometer for measuring the Wet Bulb Temperature daily through the month of August, to ensure the safty of our players.  An unlimited supply of cold water is always accessible to all players, cheerleaders and coaches during practices.  Hydration and fluid replacement is a daily process and players should hydrate themselves before, during, and after practice.   Please see the following link for the Wet Bulb Chart provided by Cobb County.  www.cobbk12.org/centraloffice/athletics/WetBulbTempGuide.pdf

Game schedules are generally not available until the week prior to the first regular season game.

$125 for Cheerleading Camp

$100 for Equipment deposit (check is not cashed) it is held until the equipment is returned at the end of season.

In 2008 we will again register on-line for our cheerleading, football, and agility camp. We encourage you to use our on-line registration process.  Please remember that each football player will be required to provide a certified copy with seal of his birth certificate for Fall Football (not needed for Conditioning Camp). To participate in East Cobb Football, you must be between 5 and 12 years old by 07/31/2008. Cheerleaders should be ages 5 to 12; however, we will make limited exceptions for younger siblings based on the child's skills and attitude.
