Saturday, July 4 The U12 girls played a tournament in Whitman this past weekend June 26-28. They played 3 games on Saturday. First at 7:30a against Abington, 10:30a against Marshfield and 1:30p against Halifax and won all 3 games. They went in on Sunday the 28th of June as the #1 seed to play a game at 10a against Randolph and won. The final 2 teams standing (out of 10 teams), for the championship were East Bridgewater and Marshfield. Our girls lost to Marshfield, but took 2nd place in the tournament. Great Job Girls! Saturday, July 4 Our Junior District team plays Friday for the District 7 Championship, location and time to be announced. Come show off our EB Pride, and support our teams! Friday, July 3
The Major Division District Team won their first District game last night. Beating Barnstable 5-4.
Connor Gavin pitched a complete game and hit a 2 run HR in the 3rd inning. In the bottom of the 6th and down 4 -2 with 2 outs. Jake Pierce hit a double with bases loaded and knocked in 2 runs to tie the game, and then Ty Jenkins came up behind him and hit a walk off single up the middle and knocked in the winning run.
