The Rovers started out the LVIAC 1-5 and have battled back to 6-7 in the league with a chance to even their league record against Dieruff Saturday May 9th at 12:30. The Rovers battled back to defeat Liberty 3-2 in dramatic fashion. Rachelle Youngkin hit a two run homerun in the bottom of the sixth to put the Rovers up 3-2. Sierra Stout came on in relief of Adara Sos to save the victory for Sos. Sos allowed only three hits and picked up four strikeouts in six innings of work. The Rovers scored a run in the fifth inning on a walk to Meghan Brown, stolen base, sacrifice bunt by Kristy Applegate and an RBI single by Audra Heilman. The Rovers play two tomorrow. First game 10:00 vs Phillipsburg followed by 12:30 game against Dieruff. Both games are home.
