Rovers Win 5th Straight to Qualify for Post-Season
The Rovers 13-0 win over Dieruff put the Rovers into the District XI Play-off. TheRovers also are in position to possibly tie for the East Division of the LVIAC. A Freedom victory over Bethlehem Catholic will create a four way tie for the division title. Sara Rasley got the Rovers off to a good start hitting her fourth HR of the season in the four run first inning. Morgan Neel & Rachelle Youngkin went back to back in the fourth. Morgan Neel, Hannah Thomas, Kristy Applegate and Marissa Csovelak all had a pair of hits. Emily Glose (9) and Marissa Cecere (9)picked up their first varsity hits in the fifth inning. Amber Dalrymple posted her third straight victory.
