CONGRATULATIONS EASTLAKE BASEBALL ALL STAR TEAMS!!
Once again, Eastlake Baseball had a very successful weekend for our All-Star teams. Leading the way again was our Mighty MIte Blue team who for the 3rd week in a row won a tournament. This week it was the Willowick tournament held at Dudley Park.
In the 4 tournaments the Mighty Mites played this year, they made 4 championship games and won 3 tournaments. They ended the All-Star season with an 18 - 1 combined record for the Eastlake, Willoughby, Wickliffe and Willowick tournaments. OUTSTANDING!!
Our Minor Blue and Gold teams played in our Tyler Cole Memorial Tournament and both teams had good tournaments. Minor Gold played in their first tournament of the year and made Eastlake proud by making it to the semi-finals of the Silver bracket on Sunday. Minor Blue made it to the championship game for the 2nd week in a row. In a hard fought game against Euclid 10, they came a little short losing 5 - 4.
As a coach, board member or parent, we should all be very proud of the way our boys played this year and how well they represented the Eastlake Baseball League.
We have a lot to look forward to next year.

Congratulations to our Major team who came home with the Consolation Bracket Championship. Great job guys on a well played tournament.
The last congratulations go to our Junior team who made it to the semi-finals before falling to Wickliffe.
Once again as a board, a parent, a coach or a spectator we should be proud of the way our boys are representing the Eastlake Baseball League. Hopefully everyone will come out this weekend to help volunteer and cheer for our Eastlake Blue and Gold teams as they play in our Eastlake Minor Tournament, July 17-19th.

The Eastlake Baseball League would like to congratulate the Eastlake Blue 8U All Star team for their WIlloughby All Star Classic Tournament victory! They went 4 - 0 on their way to the championship. They beat a tough host Willoughby team Friday night 4 - 3. Then Saturday morning they defeated Aurora 3 - 1. This made them the #1 tournament seed and gave them a bye into the semi - finals.
Sunday morning they beat Lyndhurst, who 2 weeks knocked them off in the championship game in our Eastlake tournament 2 - 0. Then the rematch with Aurora Sunday afternoon was an instant classic. Aurora got off to the early lead and held it until the bottom of the 5th inning when Eastlake took the lead. Top of the 6th inning Aurora regained the lead on a controversial call. Eastlake who never lost their composer came back in the bottom of the 6th inning and won 6 - 5.
Congratulations to our 8U Eastlake Blue Tournament Team

Parking
Parents and fans,
Please be advised that the only two locations for parking your vehicles is our parking lot located next to the Slugger diamond or the main parking lot located between Thomas Jefferson Elementary and Eastlake Middle School.
Please do not park on the playground behind Thomas Jefferson Elementary. Driving along the pathway poses a safety risk for the children playing nearby and parking on the playground causes damage to the playing surface.
We have been informed by the City of Eastlake that if there are any cars driving along the pathway or parking on the playground, they will be ticketed and/or towed.
Please park only in the designated areas, we desire to maintain a good relationship with the city and with the school board.
Thank you,
Joe Cooper
